Tell me if this sounds like you. After a jumpstart of inspiration, you decided to start a journaling journey. You bought the prettiest notebook, the smoothest pen, stencils, washi tape, rulers, and … well everything. Then you get to the first page and realize you are not the artist you want to be. You had such high hopes for getting your life together. Social media makes it look so easy! But, alas, your wonky cursive and lack of “eye” got in the way. You put the journal away for months and then, bam! More inspiration. More notebooks. And more, more, more.
That was me. Or at least until I decided to write my wellness.
Journaling is not all BUJO layouts and masterful art. Don’t get me wrong, I love looking at creative spreads just as much as the next person! The only problem was…I can’t do that. Most of us can’t.
What most of us CAN do is write from the heart. It doesn’t have to be perfect. We aren’t aiming for Shakespeare, here. All you have to do is put pen to paper and start writing how you feel. What brings you joy? What doesn’t?
That’s what this blog is all about. WYW is a home for anyone hoping to know more about themselves. Through tracking habits, answering tough questions, and releasing emotion–we grow. I chose to call this blog “Write Your Wellness” because I truly believe it is possible. Anyone can start sorting through their stuff. All you need is a journal.
